It’s official: The people of South Texas have elected me as their next member of Congress for TX-15. And on the same ballot, we chose Gina Hinojosa to be our next Governor and James Talarico to be our next United States Senator. This was a historic night, and we couldn’t have done it without you. The other side...

Today’s the day we’ve been working toward: Election Day. When I retired from music to run for Congress in TX-15, I didn’t know if I’d even make the ballot. It wasn’t a sure thing. But step by step, we’ve created a movement that matters to people. We’ve restored hope to a region that’s felt overlooked, cast aside by...

I’m going to cut right to the chase: We’re still 11% short of our 48-hour fundraising goal. The movement we’ve built is beyond my wildest dreams. We’re 40,000 donors strong, with an average donation of $20.89. Now’s when I need you to rise to the occasion once again. I admit this is kind of a Hail Mary. But your...

$5 to our campaign is the most strategic investment you can make to flip the House. Here’s why: We’ve officially turned a district Trump won by 18 points into a 7-point lead, and Nate Silver’s called this the most competitive House race in America. But we have a big problem: fewer people are chipping in right now...

If you’re reading this, you’re part of what’s kept this campaign going. Whether you’ve donated, shared a post, or just followed along, thank you. I couldn’t have done any of this without you, and that’s why I’m reaching out for your help before our final monthly deadline. We’re 7% short of tonight’s end-of-month...

I know every campaign is asking you for something right now, and I know I’m one of them. So I’ll be straight with you about where we are in our race to flip TX-15 and the House blue. Today is the last day of early voting in Texas. What we raise between now and Election Day is how we make sure we continue to see...

Give this headline a quick read: Once-safe GOP seat in South Texas now a toss-up, poll finds “A new poll suggests a U.S. House seat in South Texas could flip from red to blue — a seat once considered mostly safe at the start of the election cycle.” Against all odds, in a district Trump won by 18 points just two...

Bobby Pulido again. I’ll be honest: this is kind of a shot in the dark, a Hail Mary right out of the Longhorns playbook. I’ve posted here a few times asking for a donation to flip TX-15 and retake Congress. If you can’t afford a contribution today, I totally get that. But there’s no better time to step up, and I’ll...

Today is one week from Election Day, and Sabato's Crystal Ball just changed their rating of our race from “Toss-Up” to “Leans Democratic.” I’m still trying to wrap my head around how we got here. The odds are still moving in our favor in a district Trump won by 18 points, but it’d be a big mistake to pull back now....

If you’re reading this, you understand that TX-15 is going to be one of the hardest House seats in the country to win this November, and one of the most important. That’s why I’m humbly asking: is flipping the #1 tossup seat in the country worth $5 to you? DONATE Here’s what I’ve had on my mind lately: Victory isn’t...

I have a very short post for you today. I told you I’d leave my music career behind to run for Congress. I told you I’d perform at quinceañeras when my opponent treated our culture like a punchline. I told you we’d turn a district Trump won by 18 points into a toss-up. We’ve done all three. But as we close out the...

South Texas has gotten the short end of the stick for too long. Together, we’re changing that. One conversation at a time, I’m working to show voters the kind of leader this region needs: someone who’ll speak out against the corruption in both parties and get results. We’re building an undeniable movement: 37,000...

Hey, it’s Bobby. I’m sorry to bother you on a Friday evening. I wasn’t sure if you saw, Fox News and The Cook Political Report have both moved our race up to Toss-Up status. This is a huge deal. It’s clearer than ever: Our race is the #1 toss-up in Texas. If we win, Democrats will take back the House majority. We’re...

You deserve to know exactly what we’re up against. Donald Trump’s super PAC is airing $4.8 MILLION in ads against me in South Texas right now. They’re outspending us every single week. We’re getting pummeled. I hate to give you bad news, but if we don’t chip away at their financial advantage, we will fall behind in...

I’ve got some bad news. Trump is officially locked in on this race like no other. He’s come to Texas three times already to campaign against us, and I guess his rallies aren’t working, because he’s decided to go a step further. Trump’s super PACs are now spending $4.8 million on TV ads attacking me. Look, Trump and...

As a teenager, I played saxophone and sang backup vocals in my dad’s band. We were called Roberto Pulido y Los Clasicos, and this is a photo of us. I never expected to have a future in Tejano music. My life just shook out that way. Now, after 30 years, two Latin GRAMMYs, and a career I’m deeply proud of, I’m running...

For months, I’ve heard talk that TX-15 is out of reach, that a Tejano singer couldn’t flip a district Trump won by 18 points. What we saw on the ground told a totally different story. Now, the latest news backs us up. We’ve pulled ahead of Monica De La Cruz in the polls. Experts like Nate Silver are calling us the...

I bet you’re swamped with emails from candidates asking for donations who don’t even try to earn it. I know the value of your support, so I refuse to do that. Instead, I’m going to state plainly, right up front: South Texas is worth fighting for. I was blessed to have a career for 30 years in Tejano music, releasing...

Thirty-one years ago, I had no idea where my music would take me. It took me to your backyards, your fiestas, your carnes asadas, your weddings. It took me to countless concerts, and to all those desveladas where someone always asks for one more song. Tonight, I’m coming home to Edinburg to take the stage one last...

The Cook Political Report recently moved our race from Leans Republican to Toss Up. Trump won this South Texas district by 18 points. If we win in a couple weeks, we will pull off the biggest upset in the country and hand Democrats the majority in Congress. Can I count on your help to make history? Pitch in so we...
