Los Clasicos
As a teenager, I played saxophone and sang backup vocals in my dad’s band. We were called Roberto Pulido y Los Clasicos, and this is a photo of us.

I never expected to have a future in Tejano music. My life just shook out that way.
Now, after 30 years, two Latin GRAMMYs, and a career I’m deeply proud of, I’m running for Congress in Texas’ 15th District.
And our race was just called a toss-up — a district that Donald Trump won by 18 points.
I’ve never run for office before. I don’t have inside connections or Donald Trump’s war chest like my opponent. But I know what it’s like to work hard, show up, and fight for your community.
Republicans gerrymandered this district to silence South Texas. They failed and, now, four straight polls show us ahead.
Together, we’ve built a movement that proves they can’t gerrymander Tejano culture.
Gracias por todo,
Bobby
