I just made a tough call.

I gave the green light to my team to air more TV ads, but I don’t know for sure how we’re going to pay for them.

I’m not going to dance around how serious this is.

My opponent has double the cash on hand: $2.5 million locked and loaded. That’s enough to drown us out and make our polling lead disappear. So that’s why I told my campaign manager: buy that airtime.

I placed a bet that this team would step up and help me cover the cost of these ads.
